The kit includes:

-A pdf of my newest pattern ’Cadence’ which will be sent to your email address to print at home. Avaialable in French and English.

-The complete set of yarns in all the 15 colours you will require for your size, in the exact colourways shown (choose from ‘Carnavale’ or ‘Earthenware’-currently only ‘Carnavale’ is in stock). The yarn is Bio Shetland by BC Garn. Bio Shetland is 100% pure organic wool. It is a GOTS certified, Shetland-like rustic wool with a soft, light touch.

About the pattern:

Cadence is a patchwork of simple patterns including triangles, stripes, crosses and zigzags, all knit up in a plethora of bright colours, this rhythmic sweater is as much fun to knit, as it is to wear! A nostalgic nod to the bold jacquard sweater designs of the 1980s, with the sensitivity of the modern age, using natural yarns in harmonious colours, all knit up in a flattering loose shape, which is balanced out with slim sleeves. The neckline is wide, for a relaxed look (see ‘note on fit’ if you prefer a tighter neckline). It is knit entirely in the round from the top down, gradually increasing as you go down the yoke to shape the shoulders. The piece is then divided into body and sleeves. Optional Short Rows are used to raise the back neck and lower the back body.

You will need (not included in the kit):

1 size 2.25 mm 80 cm circular needle for body ribbing.

1 set 2.25 mm DPNs for the cuffs.

1 size 2.75 mm 80 cm circular needle for the main fabric.

1 size 2.75 mm 40 cm circular needle for the top of the yoke where the circumference is smaller (this one is optional, you can also use the 80 cm needle and magic loop method here).

1 set 2.75 mm DPNs for the sleeves (you can also use the circular needle here, if using the magic loop method).

or needles to get gauge.

2 stitch holders or waste yarn.

*Please note the washing instructions as written on the labels of the full skeins of your Bio Shetland: handwash in cool water. This is a non-superwash wool that will not withstand machine washing!
