Create your own super cosy, handmade Névé Sweater with this gorgeous knitting kit, put together from my studio in Normandy.
Each kit includes all the yarn you will need for your size, in the colours shown: Zinnia, Natural and Celadon. You will love discovering this luxurious hand dyed yarn by Manos Del Uruguay. Manos is a brand of hand spun & dyed artisan yarns that supports rural Uruguayan women. It is a non-profit organisation that was founded to give local women local jobs, and they have been a pleasure to work with as I developed this pattern.
“Ideal” is a plump, round worsted-weight yarn spun from 100% Polwarth wool, soft and non-itchy.
Enjoy the satisfaction of making Névé, a sweater that combines comfort, style, and warmth with a festive touch. Inspired by a vintage ski sweater, this simple colour work sweater has been updated with modern finishings and a flattering blouse-type shape, with visible tapered waist and sleeve shaping. Accessible for intermediate knitters, it knits up very quickly!
Choose from sizes XS/S; M/L; XL/2XL or 3XL/4XL.
You will need (not included in the kit) : a 4.5-5.5 mm circular needle and a 4-5 mm circular needle for the finishings (depending on your gauge).

CC1 : “Natural”, 2 (2, 3, 4, 4, 5, 5, 5) skeins
CC2: “Celadon”, 1 (1, 1, 1, 2, 2, 3, 3) skeins
GAUGE
18 stitches and 23 rows in 10 x 10 cm (4 x 4 inches) on 4.5 - 5.5 mm needles (US 7-9) (I used 4.5 mm (US 7) needles, but I have quite a loose tension, you will need to swatch).
MATERIAL
1 x 4.5 mm circular needles, 80 cm long for the body, and 25 cm long (or DPNs) for the sleeves (unless using the magic loop method).
